Story House Early Learning Pimpama’s team is committed to furthering their knowledge and upskilling to ensure the best possible outcomes for the young children we look after each and every day.
Recently, we had Raising Legends come out to our service to deliver a trauma informed practice workshop for our team. We gained understanding of theoretical knowledge, history, further understanding of brain development and practical ‘try it today’ skills and strategies. Rochelle and her team showed us the Roadmap from how the child’s brain works, to the adverse childhood experience and how that affects children. We then explored and learned different strategies to help them.
About Raising Legends
Rochelle uses her experience as a mum, teacher and school counsellor to support individuals and families on the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Rochelle shares her knowledge with like-minded professionals to help and guide them in behaviour management/change and building resilience. Motivated by working smarter, she delights in supporting people to find simple strategies that transform lives from the inside out.
