JANE LINDSAY OUR NEW SERVICE MANAGER AT OAK ON SOUTH!
The team at OAK on South, Glenvale are excited to welcome their new Service Manager, Jane Lindsay – a Toowoomba local, an experienced educator and a compassionate leader.
Jane joins OAK on South as a registered teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education specialising in Early Childhood. For 17 years, Jane and her family called Toowoomba home until they moved to the Northern Territory where Jane spent 1 year in Darwin working as an Early Childhood teacher and Director at the Haileybury Rendall School. Jane has a lengthy career in early childhood and has progressed in roles from Assistant Service Leader to Early Childhood Teacher at Concordia Lutheran Kindergarten and she has spent the last two years working as an Early Childhood Teacher and Director at Deadly Burragah Kindergarten C&K in Woodridge.
Jane is thrilled to be returning to her Toowoomba roots and is eager to dive in to her new role and lead the amazing team of Educators at OAK on South. Over the next 12 months, her goal is to get to know her team, the children, and their families. Jane knows that at the heart of every early learning setting is the family and she acknowledges that a child’s family relationships and culture should always be respected and valued particularly in a community where families come from both rural and urban settings which often have their own unique needs.
Jane is most looking forward to building strong relationships with everyone involved with OAK on South and hopes to exceed the high standards required in early childhood education and care.
