Our family has called Toowoomba home for 17 years. I have worked in early childhood education for over 15 years. I graduated from USQ with a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). My husband and I are happily returning to Toowoomba after 3 years away in Darwin and Brisbane, were I have been working as Early Childhood Teacher and Director.

What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
Watching the children at the end of year breakup. The developmental journey from January to December that we are part of is such a privilege.

What are you passionate about?
Acknowledging that families are a child’s first teachers, a child’s family relationships and culture needs to be respected and valued if we are to support the whole child.

Who Inspires you and why?
My family is my inspiration, watching our family grow into adulthood, becoming good people is a great joy. I try be the best person I can be today, if not I try again tomorrow.
