As educators we constantly reflect, listen, and observe the children to understand what ideas they are trying to share with us through their play.

Here at Story House Aberglasslyn, we are very lucky to have access to a large, open reserve which creates the ultimate background for nature play!

Malaguzzi wrote 'The One Hundred Languages of Children' in recognition of the multitude of ways in which they can express their ideas, thoughts, feelings or frustrations.

Through loose parts play we provide these wonderful hands on opportunities for the children to enjoy the benefits of reusing recyclable items including pallets, boxes and pvc pipes to help them achieve this and bring their imagination to life, while also doing our part environmentally to help promote a sustainable future.
