New Service Manager Joins Story house Early Learning Springvale South

Story House Early Learning, Springvale South is delighted to welcome Michelle Fereday as their new Service Manager this week.
Michelle joins the Springvale South team with a Diploma in Children’s Services (Centre Based Care) and a Certificate III in Children’s Services. Her passion for early education along with her enjoyment of working with children and families has seen her progress from a Childcare Assistant in 1994 to more senior Director-level roles across several services in and around southeast Victoria.

With over 25 years’ experience working in early learning settings for both large and small providers, Michelle has a solid understanding of how services operate.  She is an experienced team builder and is masterful at establishing successful relationships with families and the wider community.

One of Michelle’s accomplishments is taking a service with many challenges operating with just 31% occupancy and growing it to over 70% occupancy resulting in happy families and a happy team.  Story House is fortunate that Michelle is bringing this kind of ingenuity and enthusiasm to our service.

In her spare time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her pet dog.  She loves music, movies and reading books.
