Today, we’re sharing one of these family favourites straight from Chef Tiana’s kitchen, their much-loved Chilli Corn Carne recipe. Packed with nutrients and hidden veg, this one’s a hit at lunchtime and perfect for the whole family to recreate at home.
Chef Tiana’s Chilli Corn Carne
Ingredients
- Beef mince
- Onion diced
- Garlic mince
- Carrot grated
- Celery diced
- Cumin seeds and powder
- Paprika
- Oregano
- Tomato paste
- Crushed tomatoes
- Beans
- Corn kernels
Method
- Heat oil in pan and add cumin seeds, when they splutter add onion and garlic,
- Fry for 1 min , add grated carrot and celery, fry until soft, add mince meat, and cook until ground.
- Add cumin powder, paprika, oregano, mix well add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beans and corn, simmer for 20 min and then serve with corn chips, cheese and sour cream.
