Lisa Hansen

Lisa has been working in the Early Childhood industry for over 20 years. Lisa is currently studying her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Primary. Outside of work Lisa is a mum to six boys. She lives in Doreen with her husband and children and their dog Daisy. She enjoys playing basketball with her children on the weekends and taking them to their games.

Lisa’s personal philosophy is, as an early childhood educator, she believes in teaching the whole child by addressing their social, emotional, physical and cognitive needs through a developmental approach. She believes that children have a right to feel safe, warm and nurtured in a stimulating environment where they can learn and grow through play. Lisa will endeavour to build strong relationships with families that are based on trust and respect. Her aim is to work alongside families to support children in becoming lifelong learners. She will do this by creating a stimulating environment where children can be active, engaged and creative to promote a sense of belonging.
