Story House Early Learning Bundoora

Our service has a well-established team, and some of our team members have been at Story House Early Learning Bundoora since we opened, over 11 years ago. Our team are like a little family, which gives our service a unique home-like feel.

We are very proud of the little community we have created here. When you enrol with us, you are not just enrolling in a centre, you also become a part of our Bundoora family.

We have a diverse team in culture and in knowledge, we love learning about cultural events and celebrating them across the service.

Our service team values outdoor play, and our three spacious outdoor play spaces are always changing and evolving with the children’s interests and development needs. All of our meals are prepared fresh each day by our wonderful chef, and where we can, we utilise the fruits and vegetables that we grow in our service’s own vegetable garden.

I can not recommend Story House Bundoora highly enough!
From day one at Story House she loved all the educators there, is never upset at drop off and pick up and I have seen such a dramatic change with her. When I go to pick her up she doesn’t want to come home! Rachel and the team are so great, everyone is really happy nothing is too much to ask. So glad we made the change and when we move house we will travel the extra 15mins to this centre.

Both of my children are at Story House and I’ve always had very good experiences there. Staff are always nice and I have gotten to know them well. They were very nice to me and accommodating during my pregnancy and during tough times, it was never an issue if I needed an extra day of care for my children etc. The kids are happy and love the staff and have made good friends.

Nice educators and as well as staff. My daughter has been here for 3 years and my second baby will be there too.
Variety of activities and large spacious backyard for all ages kids from nursery to kinder. My kid loves her and all the patient and friendly ladies who have been looking after her.

Lauren has been working in the profession for 15 years. She has held many roles throughout her career from room leader positions. Educational leader and now Service Manager. Lauren is most passionate about providing educational programs that are inclusive. She believes that children learn best when they are having fun and in a supportive and caring environment.

Lauren sees all children as capable individuals with their own thoughts and ideas and loves to see the children’s own personalities throughout the service.

We try and take our teaching cues from the children, their ideas, milestone goals and interests. Lauren loves to get involved in experiences in the rooms and spend time with her team and the children in their care. Bundoora service pride themselves in being able to create environments where children feel safe, secure and have a strong sense of belonging.
