Indoor and outdoor play based experiences are an integral part of our program. Educators plan a diverse range of experiences to create opportunities for your child in both structured and spontaneous play.
Our programs are inspired by the wisdom and teachings of early childhood theorists and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and aim to develop children’s emotional, social and cognitive intelligence.
The Kindergarten curriculum continues to emphasise play based learning, however offers additional intentional learning times where the focus is on literacy and numeracy, socialisation, self-regulation and independence.
What led you to a career in the childcare industry?
Studied Early Childhood education and teaching and found my niche was working with children 6 weeks to 6 years.
What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
Everyday working with children creates amazing memories, as you hear them laughing, see the smiles on their faces and the friendships they make.
Who Inspires you and why?
Our educators at the service as they are a very dedicated and passionate team who aspire to provide high quality education and care for the children.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about life long learning and continually motivating children and educators to aspire to become the best version of themselves that they can be. Providing children, families and educators with a rich and meaningful learning environment that are inclusive and beneficial to our community. Developing a culture of happiness for all.
What type of leadership style do you have?
I believe that I am a transformational leader however adapt to a distributed leadership style often. As a tansformation leader I inspire other to lead, I embrace the new ideas of others and encourage reflection and change. Transformational leaders like to make the world a better place and inspire others to do the same. I like to challenge our team of educators to think outside the box, praise them for their efforts and lead by example. Decisions are made collaboratively all voices are heard including children, educators, families and our community.

Our people, the children, families, educators and being part of such a strong friendly community.
What are your goals for the service over the next 12 months?
To continue to do what we do best – provide amazing educational programs for children.
Our centre welcomes families from surrounding suburbs including Kingscliff, Salt, Casuarina, Fingal, Banora Point, Terranora, Murwillumbah, Pottsville and Tweed Heads. We offer a state-of-the-art facility boasting spacious play areas, gardens, bike riding tracks, bird aviary and vegetable patches.

Offspring Early Learning is situated in Chinderah on the Tweed Coast, conveniently accessible from the Pacific and only a short 5-minute drive from Kingscliff.
