This week we’re celebrating Cultural Diversity Week at Story House Black Rock. Cultural Diversity Week creates a perfect opportunity for everyone to come together as a community to celebrate our multicultural heritages and identity. We’ve set up a table for our families and children to explore. As a service, we’ve set up a family tree, where our families, children and educators can add their fingerprint and names. We’re so excited seeing everyone get involved, and our tree is growing every day! Our individual rooms have also gotten involved by collaborating with their families and encouraging their children to partake in the week’s experiences. We’ve provided experiences such as, baby splat – to create a beautiful painting of the world, and had a cooking experience with our chef, Margarita, where the children made earth cookies.
