Today, we’re sharing one of these family favourites straight from Chef Oscar and Chef Juanita’s kitchen, their much-loved Hokkien Noodles with Vegetables recipe. Packed with nutrients and hidden veg, this one’s a hit at lunchtime and perfect for the whole family to recreate at home.
Chef Oscar and Chef Juanita’s Chicken Hokkien Noodles with Vegetables
Ingredients
- Hokkien Noodles – 1 pack or 450 grams
- Half Chopped onion.
- Minced Ginger – 1 tablespoon
- Minced Garlic – 1 tablespoon
- Mixed stir fry veg – 500g
- Diced Chicken – 500g
- Tomato pasta sauce – 1x tablespoon (more if required)
- Soy sauce (Add 3 tablespoons. More if you like)
Method
- Soak the Noodles in boiling separate bowl for a few minutes to the point of getting them separated and strain it .
- Satay the onion garlic and Ginger with oil in frying pan with high Heat getting them Golden brown and add the chicken in it after a few minutes
- Add in tomato pasta sauce, soy sauce, vegetable and noodles and cook together for 3-4mins. If a little water is required add in.
- Simmer for 2mins and serve
