We know that strong connections between home, community, and our service are the foundation for meaningful learning, so we prioritise genuine collaboration with every family. Whether you’re volunteering in the classroom, sharing your family’s traditions, or offering feedback to help us continually improve, you play an important role in shaping your child’s early learning journey. Our educators are carefully selected for their empathy, creativity, and commitment to fostering a lifelong love of learning. With a positive team culture and a deep dedication to supporting each child’s unique strengths, we aim to create an environment where children feel valued and ready to thrive. At Tallowwood Early Education, we are more than an early learning service — we are a community working together so every child can become their best self.

As a leader, Jessica prioritises transparency, empathy, and collaboration. She is passionate about fostering a positive team culture where educators feel valued, supported, and empowered to deliver high quality care and education. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys photography, baking, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her daughter, Charlotte, and their much-loved pets, Coco and Ollie. She loves spending time with family and friends and finds peace and inspiration in nature, especially at sunset, her favourite time of day for reflection and calm.

CHEF 'S COOKING PROGRAM
Just like any quality restaurant kitchen, ours is fully equipped and run to the highest standards with our chefs holding up-to-date food safety certifications to ensure every meal is prepared with care and compliance. All meals are thoughtfully planned to align with Australian nutrition guidelines, ensuring every bite supports healthy growth and development. Our skilled chef’s Oscar and Juanita lead interactive cooking classes tailored to each age group, encouraging children to discover new flavours and learn new skills. Children enjoy a variety of foods while gaining confidence in the kitchen. Popular dishes like Spaghetti Bolognese Pasta, Chicken Vegetable Curry with Rice and Chicken Hokkien Noodles with Vegetables, are amongst the children’s favourites, making each class a delicious adventure! As part of our commitment to fostering healthy habits and a love for fresh food, all Story House services have introduced the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKGP). This hands-on initiative connects children with growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing fresh, seasonal food. By getting involved in every step of the process, from garden to plate, children learn valuable life skills, develop respect for the environment, and build a deeper appreciation for nutritious food in a fun, practical way.
