What led you to a career in the childcare industry?
Love for children, love to see the children’s curiosity

What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
End of year appreciation notes from families and children, a very successful Christmas party and kinder graduation, educators Christmas lunch. support from support office( I made lots of mistakes in my first year of managing and the support was amazing).

Who Inspires you and why?
Inspiration can come from anybody but in my life I’ve mostly being inspired by my mum and dad. I’ve seen my mum and dad struggling with a smile in her/his face and providing me with every thing I was in need of, without any complaint. My dad has taught me that it’s all about a deadly combination of hardwork and destiny. That every certain thing happens when there the exact time arrives, is what inspires me the most and stops me from giving up.My mum taught me to accept the defeat and make it a staircase to climb upward. Her calmness and confidence boost up my zeal to fight more and grab what I deserve.

What are you passionate about?
Setting up play spaces, passionate to see how children grow and learn , educating my staff.

What type of leadership style do you have?
Transformational Leadership. I also critically reflect on my practices and find ways to improve

What makes your service such an amazing service?
The wonderful children and their amazing families. The cultural diversity and the friendliness of all staff which allows us to have great team work.

What are your goals for the service over the next 12 months?
Educate educators on setting up lovely play spaces, activities etc bring in more natural plants in the service, more PD’s, be better in communication, be more reflective on our practices, more community engagements, do some excursions.

The Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Early Childhood Teacher to join our established service in Springvale South. We are looking for a Teacher who is not only able to provide engaging educational programs for the children but has the drive to make this the best centre in the community. This is a full-time position in our kinder room with quality programming time as well as having access to a healthy professional development budget.   • Facilitate the educational learning experiences for your classroom 
  • Be part of a collaborative teaching environment
  • Maintain effective communication with the parents throughout the service
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
  • Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Support the Service Manager in leading the team and meeting the obligations under the NQS

Who we are looking for:

  • Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
  • Teaching experience within the early years essential 
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Caring, empathetic, passionate and respectful
  • Dedication to developing the future of children
  • The enthusiasm to be proactive in implementing curriculum
