What led you to a career in the childcare industry?
A career in Early Childhood Education and Care has always been a dream since I was a little girl. Influencing and shaping the lives of young children and their families is a dream that I still live everyday. Early childhood equips children with skills and capacity to be effective and engaged learners through to school and beyond and I am privilege to be part of this journey.
What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
Seeing joy on the faces of children and their families.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about providing secure reciprocal relationships in an environment that provides opportunity for children to become socially competent through building friendships and secure relationships.
Who Inspires you and why?
Dr Suess – he has the ability to inspire you in a fun learning way, His ability to use language to share a message, educate and change the world through his tales. He has taught children to read through cartoons and uses his stories to bridge the gap between adults and children, writing books that children and their parents wanted to read, and still do. “You’re off to great places! Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting, So… get on your way!”
What type of leadership style do you have?
I believe my leadership style is multifaceted I like to influence inspiration, coach, mentor and role model, building a team where we accomplish goals and motivate each other.
What makes your service such an amazing service?
We keep growing and challenging ourselves as a community working together in a company that supports creativity and craziness.

The Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing Oak on South team. We are looking for a Teacher who is not only able to provide engaging educational programs for the children but has the drive to make this the best centre in the community. This is a full-or part time position within our Kinder (4 – 5 years) room with quality programming, access to a healthy professional development budget, well resourced centre and career growth. Whilst ensuring the requirements for the kindy funding are being met, you have the freedom to implement your own learning program and showcase your skills.
