What led you to a career in the childcare industry?
A passion and love for working with children. Watching them grow and develop is so rewarding.

What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
Watching the service grow. We have got a fantastic team of educators and seeing their passion for their job each day is amazing.

Who Inspires you and why?
My whole team. They all have such wonderful teaching methods and interactions with the children is so beautiful to watch.

What are you passionate about?
Providing high quality care and education for the children in our care.

What type of leadership style do you have?
A supportive director is my style. I like my staff to know that i am always around to help support and guide them where possible.

What makes your service such an amazing service?
The educators, families and children.

What are your goals for the service over the next 12 months?
To be running at a higher capacity but still providing the same quality of care.



The Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Early Childhood Teacher to join our Kew Kids team. We are looking for a Teacher who aligns with our philosophies and is not only able to provide engaging educational programs for the children but has the drive to make this the best centre in the community. This is a full-time position within our Pre Kinder (3-4 years) room with quality programming, access to a healthy professional development budget, well resourced centre and career growth. Whilst ensuring the requirements are being met, you have the freedom to implement your own learning program and showcase your skills to make a difference for our respected families.


  • Facilitate the educational learning experiences for your classroom 
  • Be part of a collaborative teaching environment
  • Maintain effective communication with the parents throughout the service
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
  • Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
  • Support the Service Manager in leading the team and meeting the obligations under the NQS

Who we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor in Early Childhood Education
  • Teaching experience within the early years essential 
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Australian Teaching Standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Dedication to developing the future of children
  • The enthusiasm to be proactive in implementing curriculum
  • A friendly and energetic demeanour
