Each year the center participates in the Diamond Creek Town Fair, an community event where the community comes together to celebrate and connect with one another. Each year, families and educators come together, helping each other decorate the centers float to then participate in the parade where all of Diamond creek community watch and cheer on, seeing the smiles on all our families and children’s faces is truly an rewarding experience.
Who Inspires you and why?
My primary school principal Mr Martin. Mr Martin always made me feel important despite the struggle I had fitting in as a child. Reading and writing at that time was a challenge growing up. With Mr Martins support I gained strength and confidence with his endless support and encouragement. Mr Martin was such an inspiration and continued to do so throughout my life. Mr Martin attended my wedding in 2012, 30 years later.
