What led you to a career in the childcare industry?
I was led to the early childhood sector by wanting to help and educate children. I believe it is a starting point to children’s development and the importance of educating young children stems from creating an environment that links between home and family.

What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
Establishing close relationships with the families, children & educators. It has been lovely inviting new families to join our service & get to know them. Watching the children grow and develop amazes me each time.

Who Inspires you and why?
My educators inspire me as I believe working as a team allows the service to grow stronger each day.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about providing a quality service to the community and receiving the support and love from families, children and educators.

What type of leadership style do you have?
The most important part of leadership is to support my educators and team. I am always available if anyone requires assistance or advice and I am more than happy to lend a helping hand. My commitment to families and their children is evident through my work ethics as I strive to provide a welcoming environment.

What makes your service such an amazing service?
Mascot Early Learning is a service where all educators, children and parents feel like one big family. We provide such high quality care and this is evident through the support we have been given from the families.

What are your goals for the service over the next 12 months?
My goal is to continue creating a warm and welcoming environment to children, families and educators. It is important to maintain strong relationships with the families and invite new families to join our service.
