  • Opening Hours – 7am – 6pm
  • 5 rooms
  • Regular monthly incursions (Yoga & Happy feet) + Calendar of events including monthly program inspired incursions from outside sources – i.e Marine incursion, Smoking ceremony etc
  • Sustainability & loose parts program
  • Regular walks and engagement in the community
  • 2 chickens and 1 rabbit and maintained vegetable gardens

What led you to a career in the childcare industry?
A passion and love for working with children. Watching them grow and develop is so rewarding.

What are your favourite memories within the workspace?
Watching the service grow. We have got a fantastic team of educators and seeing their passion for their job each day is amazing.

Who Inspires you and why?
My whole team. They all have such wonderful teaching methods and interactions with the children is so beautiful to watch.

What are you passionate about?
Providing high quality care and education for the children in our care.

What type of leadership style do you have?
A supportive director is my style. I like my staff to know that i am always around to help support and guide them where possible.

What makes your service such an amazing service?
The educators, families and children.

What are your goals for the service over the next 12 months?
To be running at a higher capacity but still providing the same quality of care.



The Role:
We are currently looking for a team of dedicated and motivated casual educators to join our Kew Kids team. We are looking for Educators who are not only able to provide engaging programs for the children, but they have the drive to make this the best service in the community, while also being caring, empathetic, passionate and respectful. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic team with lots of support at hand whilst working the hours that suit you and your lifestyle.


  • Facilitate the learning experiences for your allocated group of children
  • Be part of a collaborative teaching environment
  • Maintain effective communication with the parents throughout the service
  • Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs
  • Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
  • Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times

Who we are looking for:

  • Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma
  • Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificates
  • A strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Dedication to developing the future of children
  • The enthusiasm to be proactive in implementing curriculum
  • A friendly and energetic demeanour
  • Have amazing customer service skills where you see parents as partners in children’s learning journey.
